On September 26th, 2025, Jennifer Black, Museum Curator of the Glengarry Pioneer Museum, gave a presentation to the grade 5 and 5/6 classes on the the importance of preserving history and the significance of documenting daily life for future generations. The museum has a time capsule which will be opened in a few years after being buried for 25 years. The students were excited to ask questions that they had come up with together in a previous lesson pertaining to the museum's time capsule and the artifacts kept at the museum.
